Since our founding members began the Southern Association for Vascular Surgery (SAVS) 50 years ago, the Association has advanced its mission: "to promote the art and science of vascular surgery and to further education in the comprehensive care of vascular disease"

A cornerstone of this mission has been our commitment to engaging and inspiring the next generation of vascular surgeons. Through scholarships and travel support, SAVS has enabled countless medical students and residents to attend our meetings and discover a future in vascular surgery.
