On behalf of the leadership of the Southern Association for Vascular Surgery, I would like to formally extend an invitation to everyone to join us at the upcoming meeting in Naples, Florida. The meeting will be held at the lovely Naples Grand Beach Resort January 18th to 21st. The Naples Grand Hotel has recently undergone an extensive renovation which promises to make it an even better resort than it has been in the past. It has multiple swimming pools, including a family pool, an adult pool, and a lap pool. It has a world renowned spa and tremendous amenities that I am certain everybody would like to take enjoy.

The 41st Annual Meeting of The Southern Association for Vascular Surgery will be held January 18-21, 2017 at The Naples Grande, Naples, Florida. Postgraduate Course
The Postgraduate Course will be held on Wednesday, January 18. The Postgraduate Course has been reformatted to study current clinical problems of interest from a case-based conference presentation format. Topics will include aortic disease, carotid disease, venous disease, dialysis access and lower extremity interventions. The esteemed faculty and course has been coordinated by Dr. Mark Farber and should provide an excellent format for professional interaction. Registration will be limited. Mock Oral Information
Wednesday, January 18
The format will include three half hour sessions and is based upon that used for the actual Certifying Examination. Individuals should register early.

FIRM DEADLINE: Wednesday, December 7 (NO EXCEPTIONS)
To register for the Mock Oral Exams and to be eligible for the Gore sponsored scholarship, you must complete the following by going to the SAVS website at

  1. Register for the Annual Meeting. Meeting registration is required unless excused by a letter from your Program Director.
  2. Complete the Mock Oral Examination Secondary Registration Form.
