Life is busy! We have the pressures of caring for some of the sickest patients in the hospital, face uncertainties regarding the future of health care, and are about to embark on the busy holiday season. The Annual Meeting of the Southern Association for Vascular Surgery promises to provide you with a respite in your hectic life; an opportunity to learn from your colleagues, connect with friends, and get some "down time". 2017 ANNUAL MEETING
The 42nd Annual Meeting of The Southern Association for Vascular Surgery will be held January 17-20, 2018 at The Westin Kierland, Scottsdale, Arizona. Details regarding the meeting and hotel registration information may be found online (www.savs.org). We encourage you to make your airline reservations early in order to secure the best possible fares and itinerary.

If you wish to sponsor a colleague for SAVS Membership, an application form must be requested from the Secretary-Treasurer by the sponsoring member. Completed applications must be received by the Secretary-Treasurer's office by October 1, 2018 in order to be considered at the January 2019 Annual Meeting. Also, at this year’s meeting we will be voting on an amendment to our bylaws which will change the requirement for active membership that no longer requires membership into the American college of Surgeons. Be prepared for discussion and voting at the business meeting on Saturday, January 20.
